1.5" Front Strut Spacers - the next generation! The cheaper "two-plate" strut spacers are very good, and do what they are designed to do, but they can be a little fiddy to fit - getting the third one of those 3 little 8mm bolts in can sometimes be a pig of a job! Also, I found when I fitted larger "two-plate" strut spacers to a Grand Vitara I had (some of you may have seen the "Stumpy" build?) there was an issue that when the struts were spaced down with the two-plate spacers, the strut brace that runs across the engine bay on some UK Grand Vitaras would no longer fit back on...

So I had my machining suppliers turn these intricate strut spacers up... intricate in that the top of the original strut's chrome shaft actually sits inside the strut spacer -

See how the strut top has to fit inside the strut spacer? ;)

This then means that the strut top (3 bolt mount) sits in it's original position and the strut brace (on a GV) can still be retained (until you fit a bodylift! LOL)

The spacer fitted on the shaft, note the grub screw to keep it locked on ;)

With the (Grand Vitara) Strut Top refitted...
