Product Information
If you've lifted, or lowered, your Vitara / X90 / Grand Vitara sufficiently you may find the front wheels and tyres don't sit straight... If you've lifted it you'll find the tops of the tyres sit out further than the bottoms, like this \--o--/ - that means the camber is out. If you've lowered it, you'll find the tyres sit the other way - /--o--\
There's a number of ways of fixing the camber, including slotting the strut holes and welding a washer in the new corrected position, or the "Hagen widening mod" (search the 'net), or for those of us with limited tools and fabrication skills, there's these camber bolts... all you do is take out the top front strut bolts and replace them with these camber bolts. As you can see in the pictures, they feature a cam machined into the shank of the bolt. When fitted with the tabbed (and "handled") washer (with the tab pointing the way you want to adjust, i.e. towards the engine on lifted trucks), and the Nyloc nut tightened loosely, it's then just a matter of twisting the head of the bolt, the cam then turns in the mounting hole in the strut and you'll see it move in and out by upto 1.5o degrees of correction.
Don't take my word for it though... watch the video!
