A 25mm prop spacer for fitting in between the propshaft and differential on lifted Suzuki 4x4 Vehicles.
The picture shows a 25mm spacer fitted to one of my Vitaras, to decide what size you need you need to lie on the floor under your Zook and have a look...
... at how much the prop has been pulled from the transfer box (SJ owners need to look at the splined joint in the shaft and see how much that has extended), and decide on a suitable size spacer, I currently do them in 12mm and 25mm thicknesses... remember that the Vitara prop has to slide inwards on upward articulation as well as outwards on downward articulation... so don't fit too big a spacer ;)
So why all the holes?! Well, they've got 10mm holes at 90mm PCD (Pitch Circle Diameter - the diameter between the centres of the holes) to suit the Vitara / X-90 / GV and it's got 8mm and 10mm holes at a PCD of 80mm to fit SJs and Samurai. Still confused?... Right, have a look at the picture above with the coloured squares drawn on it... The yellow square shows the Vitara, X-90 and GV mounting holes, these are 10mm holes with a diameter of 90mm between the centres of the holes. The red square shows the SJ / Samurai 10mm holes set at a diameter of 80mm between the hole centres, and the blue square shows the SJ / Samurai 8mm holes set at a diameter of 80mm between the hole centres.
NOTE that Vitaras and Grand Vitaras should never need a front prop spacer, only one in the back ;)
