A 2" bodylift kit, comprising of -

1. The traditional aliminium bodylifts tend to creak and groan a bit! LOL
2. They also have a chemical reaction between the steel plated sleeve bolt and the aluminium block that can "bond" them in!
3. The new spacers replace the rubber body mounting bush as well, one piece, quieter, and full diameter.

You can see by this picture -

So on the left we have the original body mounting rubber bush, and you can see how my new body lift spacers are an exact moulding of that rubber bush, but with two inches added to give the new ride height.

So, the same as a traditional spacer and sleeve bolt body lift, but with poly blocks to stop the squeaks, and to give a fill 3" diameter support for the body...

ALSO NOTE (again, the same with most other kits on the market) you will need to lengthen and/or adjust your gear stick lever and your transfer stick levers to compensate for the lift. AND you may have to lengthen the steering shaft between the engine bulkhead and the steering box - you'll find some here.

We'd rather you know this up front, and that you are prepared and competent enough to carry out the above tasks! ;)

Body Lifts are a little more complicated than suspension lifts which - to the most part - are bolt-on. Saying that, this bodylift is simple and bolt-on! It's just the consequences of fitting it that are complicated! You'll also have to make sure when raising the body off the chassis to get the blocks in, that all the wires, tubes, brake pipes, fuel filler pipe, gear stick, transfer stick, and steering-box shafts have enough play in them to safely lift the body up, and back down again. You also need to make sure you do it in a safe manner, preferably with a friend to help... (take the blame!)

Fitment : Between Body and Chassis!

Application : Suzuki Vitara (Tracker, Sidekick, Escudo), Grand Vitara, X90

Construction : Polyurethane Blocks, CNC Machined Sleeve Bolts.

Finish : Polyurethane Blocks, Zinc Passivated Sleeve Bolts

NOTE that with this kit (and most others on the market) if you want to retain your existing bumpers you'll have to make some small brackets to raise them up 2" to match the new body height - as the bumpers will still be attached to the chassis and hence 2" lower! ;) We assume most people fitting a body lift will be fitting a winch bumper anyway? ;)
