Making a come-back! The "WinchBall" - this is an approximate 900g ball of Automotive-grade Polyurethane, and is used to park your winch hook on the your fairlead, keeping the hook handy and ready to go without damaging your hook, rope/cable or fairlead, as the polyurethane ball will compress a little and stall your winch when you park the hook against it...

Also useful as a device to stop the cable whipping back if it breaks, as this 900g WinchBall should supress some of the whip in the cable, and being bright orange it also serves as a warning flag when slid to the middle of the cable when you are winching.

To install all you need to do is unspool your rope or cable off the winch drum, and slide the end of the rope through the ball, through the fairlead, and then respool the rope / cable back onto your winch drum... then, fit and forget, it's there forever, for you to park your winch hook ready for use when you need it most... no more searching down in the mud for the hook attached to your chassis recovery point / tie-down point.
