Front axle lowering brackets for the Vitara and X90... although note that these will not fit the V6 or Turbo Diesel models.

These are used to lower the front of the front axle after a lift of +2" has been fitted... they are used to reduce the angle of the front driveshafts, particularly the CVs, and therefore reduce (not eliminate - that depends on your driving style!) the possibility of drivetrain damage.

They bolt on in place of your existing brackets and lower (rotate) the front axle by an inch (25mm).

Fitment : Direct replacement for the existing axle hanger brackets... remember to put a bit more oil in though to keep the pinnion oiled! ;) And when fitting, slacken off the two bolts under the crossmember that supports the back of the front axle, and slacken off the bolt that runs through the rubber bush stack on top of the crossmember (don't take them out, just slacken them off as much as you can) that will allow the front of the axle to droop down when you take the factory brackets off, and get these new ones in, then remember to tighten evertything back up again.

Now redesigned! These are now made in-house by the OffRoad Armoury, and are now CNC laser-cut from 6mm steel plate, bent and welded up at the ORA, so they can react quicker to orders. The other advantage as these now weigh less than 2Kg when packed, so they can be shipped into Europe much cheaper!  Thanks once again To Rob and all @ the ORA !

Sketch showing the displacement of oil away from the pinnion bearing when tilting the axle forward - so remember to put a little extra oil in! Either park it up a steep slope and use the oil filler hole, or add a bit extra through the diff breather hole using tube and a funnel.
