These Shock Absorber Repositioners / Extensions are designed to reposition* the bottom mount of the rear shocks and also give the shock an extra inch and a half of length - ideal if using them with a set of my spring spacers!

*When you think about it the bottom mount of the shock absorber on a Vitara axle is actually working in the "wrong" plane?! By twisting the bottom mount through 90^o as these repositioners / spacers do, they are actually working with the plane of movement of the axle rather than against it...

These have been a long time in the development stage, as there was some concern about the offset mounting on them, this is required to clear the original stock shock bracket though, and also allow the fitment of "fat barrelled shocks" without fouling the axle tube, BUT I've had a set similar to these on my own Vitara "Stealth" for the last six months, and we all know what kind of abuse that gets... and they work perfectly well, so I'm now happy to list them for others to use after having tested them on our "extreme laning" excursions!

Takes ten mintues to fit them! Just undo the bolt holding the shock to the axle, pop the bracket in it's place, twist the shock 90 degrees and pop it into the U of the bracket.

Use your existing shock bolt to bolt the bracket back in, or as an option (below in the drop down box) you can have a new pair of bolts to go with them...
